Just in case you’re wondering who you’re inviting into your house…
We’re Jeremy and Anne, husband and wife team. We’re originally from Scarborough but relocated to London in 1986.
Jeremy quickly moved up the culinary ladder from 3rd commis chef at The Dorchester to Head Chef at Quo Vadis, Soho, London where he earned a Michelin star.
We then took time off from our careers to travel the world, including 2 years spent working In Singapore.
Upon our return Jeremy teamed up with an old work colleague and opened 3 gastro pubs in London, one of which, The House, was awarded Time Out Best Gastro Pub of the Year 2004.
Once again, Asia called - this time Hong Kong where we & our boys lived with Jeremy consulting for a new hotel project.
At this stage we had spent 23 years away from Scarborough & made the decision to return and to open our own restaurant in 2009.
We wanted to bring a little bit of London to our hometown in a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere, showcasing Jeremy’s passion for food & service.
We feel we achieved this in the 10 years we successfully ran Jeremy’s winning Best Neighbourhood Restaurant along the way and being in the Michelin Guide for 10 consecutive years.
